Constructive Discussions with Aur Resources Initiated

PORT WILLIAMS, NS, December 7, 2005 - Mountain Lake Resources Inc. (MOA-TSX Venture Exchange) announces that it has discussed with Aur Resources Inc. ("Aur") the possibility of Aur processing ore from Mountain Lake's Bobby's Pond massive sulphide property at Aur's proposed Duck Pond Mill. Bobby's Pond is located approximately 30kms from Aur's Duck Pond Mine. Both deposits contain similar mineralization, notably copper, zinc, silver and gold, and are situated in Central Newfoundland.

Mountain Lake will need to complete further exploration and metallurgical work, as well as a preliminary scoping study, to determine the technical and economic feasibility of mining Bobby's Pond, and then custom milling the ore at Duck Pond, but Aur has indicated that they are open to the concept of a custom milling agreement with Mountain Lake and pursuing further discussions in this regard.
